The answer is yes, however, don't be surprised if your offer (even if only a few thousand below the asking price) is turned down by the vendor.
It's worth remembering that in Spain this practice isn't the accepted norm as in the UK. If, however the property has been on the market for
a while, or we consider it over-priced then it could be a different story. Our advice would be that it's always worth a go, but don't risk
losing a good house by making repeated offers markedly below the asking price.
