To the north of the resort lies les Rotes with its restaurants right on the sea and rocky coves ideal for snorkelling. 20 minutes drive further on and you are in Javea, which can also be reached by boat. Daily crossings to Ibiza and good road links to Alicante and Valencia via the A7 motorway or N332. Denia lies equidistant 100km from Valencia and Alicante Airports with a drive time of around 1hour 20 minutes.
There is also a local rail service to Benidorm and Alicante which makes for a spectacular (though very slow) trip. No direct rail link to Valencia but can be reached by taking a bus to Gandia (35mins) and picking up the RENFE service which then takes 1 hour. There are also several daily bus services to Valencia.
