| Valencia boasts excellent transport links to the UK and accessibility has never been better!
Iberia operate scheduled services from London flying out of Heathrow terminal 2. British Airways have sadly suspended their service from Gatwick which we find hard to understand.
Towards the back end of 2004 a whole host of new players entered the arena and now you have a far greater choice of operators and routes. Easyjet are currently flying from Gatwick, Stanstead and Bristol. Air Berlin and Ryanair also run services from Stanstead, with the latter rumoured to be bringing Bristol and Gatwick on-line soon. Thomsonfly operate flights from Coventry, Bournemouth and Doncaster, whilst Jet2, fly from Manchester.
Valencia Airport (Manises) is conveniently located only 20 minutes by car from the centre of the city and a taxi will cost in the region of 18 Euros. Alternatively a bus and rail service are also available. Line 5 of Valencia's metro system has now been extended to serve the airport with a dedicated station linking to the city centre and beyond to the port.
